LSX 454 freshen up
Holey ****, I dam near spit my coffee out. LMFAO. That is priceless. Howd she pull? You need to blow that up banner size for your shop and at the track. Hell, I want to blow it up for my shop. Lol. Now that is a statement to end all. You definitely know how to get your point across. The level of sickness in that photo sets the bar pretty dam high. That picture without a doubt, made my day. Thank You.
It pulled it easily, i went max clicks on rear coilovers, above 3500rpm it pulled really really easy, sweet spot cruising was 2800rpm, i didnt try drag anyone , was worried about stopping 6100lb lol. Thats not to say i wouldnt tho
Reason i built this car is to drive it, i had a choice either my 3t isuzu truck which wouldnt notice it behind or the senator. No second thoughts here go for the one that sounds toughest lol
Its great to have confidence in the engine, finally, after 4 total rebuilds and 1 top end rebuild , im happy....
i go hard at it everytime i drive it, had a few drags towing 2500lbs ,cant help hitting the paddocks for a bit of speedway most times im at my country property, whenevr my kids are in the car at least 1 doughnut seems to happen, they love it ,, the day before dyno i smashed it for 35mins never dropping below 3500rpm, banging it off the limiter if had enough road, must have been at least 16 wot pulls on dyno and this is with the original driveshaft that i cut an inch off when changing to manual from auto, and a stock t56... how good is life!!!!!!
Only dissapointment so far is mustang drivers have been to scared to take me on, be great to smash a ford hahaha ,
Cars been going well. Going to tuner on tuesday to touch up a few spots due to a bit of surge... Couple of videos attached

Cars done 8000km/5000 miles since new cam went in so I thought I’d do 2nd oil change, new oil and air filter, empty catch can , check lash.. lash hasn’t changed at all on any rocker
oem starter motor is on its way out due to the heat so bought new solenoid and dropped my msd starter in, wrong solenoid ,spun wrong way so new one ordered... tune was touched up and now all’s spot on ....
i have 1st speed event in May at Bathurst so cars booked in on March 1st to have new underbody done , half roll cage put in , new front seats, harness, tow hooks and basically setting up for the track so all legal

lol , you definitely liked the excavator pic.... I think I’ll leave it home and just go for the record speed down Conrad straight for NA. Aiming for 300kph/186mph

I was driving home the other day and car all of a sudden got a miss... Its not mechanical , definitely electrical... It struggles up to about 3000rpm then goes great
Ive checked plugs and replaced, leads seem ok. If i put some rp7 on leads car goes great but once that burns away its back to the miss.
How would i test that the coils are good?

You have to ohms test them individually. Depending on the coil and type there are values to go by from the manufacturer. There are 2 separate testing points to check on each coil. You also need to do a spark test.
