58x and 24x reluctor wheel

58x and 24x reluctor wheel

If I have an L33 engine and I need another motor can I just get a cast block motor with the 58 x wheel and have it work with no problems or what

If your present engine is 24x, the next one should be too, unless you want to change reluctors.
24x and 58x operate completely different ECM's. One will not work with the other.
You do know L33's have 24x, right?

I wonder why the ligenfelter converter isn't more popular? Do people just not know about it or is it problematic to use?

what is a ligenfelter converter I've never heard of it

It's a converter box into which the Gen IV cam and 58x crank sensors plug into, then lines out to the Gen III ECM conning it into thinking it still controls a Gen III engine.
