I like doing heads and have jumped off doing another 1..that says A LOT. As I'd rather do another head than to build bigger...and what i got can do what I'm asking... Pistons or bigger motor? 800 HP = $800 on Pistons or $5k+ for a larger engine?

Iirc when you ran last dyno, due to oil pressure, only one run was done, and it was lean af. Get the new lifters in, verify oil pressure, get a proper amount of fuel in her, and I bet you find your power is close to your original goals. Then take the car and go gape nerds with it.

Once oil pressure is sorted the car will be going back on the dyno.
Will run the car and see how it goes.
Since stall converter is quite a bit looser than before I'm betting it will Rob some HP though.
i guess that's why this lumpier cam probably drives smoother than the smaller one did.

500+ is alot for a DD.... never could do that the way I drive.. just 2 days a WK at the most. I drive 2 fast as it is.. on the public streets and hwys. That's like adding fuel to a smaller 🔥.. still No Tickets. Rolling &

I've played with TF245s on 400+ cube they drove great but IMO they didn't make the power I was expecting. We ended up moving to a OEM Ls7 and gain 60hp+ 30tq+ and shifted the power band higher which was ok. Down low the TF245s made the car feel strong just didn't have the top end we wanted. I slapped them on a turbo car which IMO did great for the money, 2 seasons later we went MAST 11* which also gained over the 245s. Just comes down to what you are after, TF245s have a purpose for sure.
I'm waiting on a customer to step up to some F110s 247cc heads or F110 265cc heads. That be something I'd like to see myself

I'm not on FaceBook and from what I was told I got a few upset lol by no means did I say the TF were bad. They did well on everything I put them on. Are they the BEST thing out there? That depends on how you are asking. When the turbo car ran them we had to produce 25lbs of boost to run his 5.20 passes. Moving to the MAST 11* Black Label LS3 heads we dropped to 23.2lbs and went 5.Teens and 4.80s going back to 25lbs. TF did well just feel there are better more efficient heads out there. Again I am not bashing the castings lol

Do you guys think a mast black label 265cc LS7 head would do really well on a 427?
designed for a 4 inch bore so I'm thinking it should be a stump puller and make strong torque everywhere with a 4.125 bore.

I would like to see some flow numbers on them. Mamo 265 will flow 410 at 700 lift. There are heads bigger than those that do not reach that number or reach it over 800 lift.
If they get into that territory at 700 lift, I say give them a go.

Mast 265 is small 2.8 to 2.9 CSA and you'd get just what your thinking, my Rowdy heads flow around the same 370+ on a 4.00 to 4.60 bore. Now if we use a test bore of 4.185 bore I could expect to see 390cfm - 10 to 15 more cfm. I was told with 379 cfm I get at the most 390 ish on a perfect day, using the bore listed. Bigger the engine the more area or CSA is needed. The Mast 285 head is more like 3.1 - 3.2 CSA head. .....
Darth: That's what gets me .. with CSA vs CC, Mamo heads say 265 cc which tells us Nothing and Every Head seen or known of that's a Ls7 has a runner cc larger than 270+ to get the same 400+ cfm some need 2.250 inch valves. There isn't a head out that does these numbers with that amount of CC look it up.... WCCH, MAST, Brodix, TSP, FED, BES, CID Greg Good heads.. etc.

And last time I counted tony heads have NA records on 19 dynos. Twenty if Mickey has a record on his with that 454. Do they are not paper tigers.
