There are multiple reasons I picked a 258 intake lobe for my ls7

Seems like a magic number for a 427.

They’re making 800+ the hard way - fitting class rules.

Open things up and there’s power to be gained easier like vacuum pump, bigger head volume, unrestricted lift, unrestricted intake and head porting etc etc

I noticed that too. Most of the 700 rwhp motors NA seem to be 258 to 264 intake duration. Almost regardless of displacement. 427-454

What cc are your intake runners?
That test is on a 4.080 bore too.
Smaller bore will have less flow.
