Brother I knew .....just looked over the intial testing and read the specs 🤔 900+ 4 sure once broking in.

Launch if the valve train is on spec. ..800 to 900 lift is Doable.
DragWk set-up. Chris U, I think 🤔 it was did a 440+Cleveland street engine 900+ lift.
3v performance did the cam testing.
😂😹 I'm looking @ 800+ before lash 🤫 vol 2.
830 max lift Street Endurance spring 🤨.
If set up properly spring wear is the only thoughts..... 3 to 5k milage check spring pressure 🤫 if consistent continue.

1st round go to 24:12 mark
Then lost in 2nd rd 28:26 mark

Intake is the 4.0. I bought it as soon as they hit the market. I don't think the 4.5 or 5.0 were even out yet. Builder says it may pick up some HP with the 4.5 or may not.

at the track yesterday with mine and even a pass I spun terribly, dragy was within .02 of time slip and mph was as well.

I done a similar setup but decided to go hydraulic cam 434ci ls3 iron block 13ish with comp
Made 803hp@7300rpm and 623ftlbs of torque from 5300rpm

seen the difference on a engine dyno on my engine had a 4 inch then opened it up to 4.5inch jumped up 20hp

*Lil update*
I probably have close to 2k miles on this setup now and couldn't be happier. I've been to a bunch of carshows and participated in a few shootouts + grudge runs. All in all I really can't complain. Did a fair amount of testing with the transbrake and seems to work pretty good on the street.

What next?
It's still only street tuned so once the weather breaks we plan on doing some chassis dyno runs to find some HP. And since I still have the CID 4" intake I'm also contemplating bumping up to the 4.5" version over the winter. Oh and I've gotta reconnect my shift light. It's impossible to see the integrated one in the Holley 7" Pro dash. Anyway here are a few street passes.

vs a 5.3 swapped Mustang on nitrous (W)

vs a twin turbo swapped Mustang (L)

vs a Turbo T/A (skip to 1:30) (W)

Nice looking combo, the kind of info below doesn't provide really any insight into this engine build, but makes for a great forum post!




I am sure the forum would love to know vehicle weight and 1/4 mile times/speed to substantiate the posted info. The dyno power shown illustrates enough HP for easy 8.90's in the 1/4@ 3000#.

Theres nothing easy ever about going 8.90s NA.
He runs on the street/grudge, et doesnt matter, just besting the guy next to him by barely enough.

You guys have done quite well with this combo. I honestly told Bobby I didn't think we would hit the goal on the power...cam numbers just didn't say it would....glad I was wrong on power prediction.
