So like the rest of the universe I'm waiting on pistons, CHE valve guides, a few other things, and my engine builder is moving to the Carolinas. I'm probably looking at a late summer/early Fall timeframe.

Glad I bought a dirtbike to get me though the downtime 😆

Do you plan to run a Y pipe again? Or switching to duals?

Same builder. My block and rotating assembly are already down there and hope to be done by Christmas. I've got a few local guys to help with install and button everything up. Unlikely to get engine dyno'd again but have enough Dragy data to fig it all out.

if I was building a motor, I wouldn’t hesitate to use Cdubbz ‘s builder. He always has great setups

Yeah he definitly has well thought out builds especially considering the intent (all race vs street driveability/duarability). His new shop will be in Charlotte, NC just a few mins from zMAX Dragway.

True. It’s likely an employment thing. NASCAR, with the advent of their current generation car, and the way they now mandate spec bodies, chassis, and engines, just put thousands of very well trained…heck, the absolute best guys in the nation, if not the world…out of business. With the current shortage of workers, it would be easier to find quality employees in the engine building capital of the world.

New CID 4.5 intake with lightening option (old combo was 4.0). Currently at FED for port match. I should have it back in a few weeks. Sure is pretty!
