Going on a few months with the car at the body shop, still not done what a surprise. I’m going to get with the painter over the weekend to regroup and get a game plan to get this car painted!
In the meantime I picked up a new DD/ tow rig, 08 TBSS, I have always wanted one and decided to pull the trigger on this one. It didn’t stay stock for long 1 week of owning it the water pump went out, great time to do the E fans and all sorts of maintenance to it. Plans are to eventually go full Boltons and cam it, I really miss being able to drive a cammed car on the streets.

Nice TBSS! Welcome to the club, I have a 2008 I bought new. 84ta406 also has a TBSS on here. DM me, will save you some time and headaches and let you know what you need to do to it. I have 245k on mine, I know a few things.

yea I started looking a couple of weeks ago and I never expected to have problems finding one. Take that and I was bias to having the red and RWD they are like non existent anymore, or they were up north trucks that are rusted out.
Finally getting the car back on track, going to help the painter tonight get the the rest of the parts painted. Plan is the roll the body in on Friday remove all the front suspension and wheels to get that all painted for Saturday.
I'm tired of the car sitting and not being able to run it, there are a lot of great events coming up that I’d like to run or test at.
Picked the car up from the body shop today, let the party begin!! In the picture on the tow truck you can really see what the color looks like in person. The phone/lighting make it out to be Blue and that’s not what it looks like. super happy with the way it has turned out!
