I think I mentioned it before, but wrapping the car will save a good bit of weight. Plus it can be done in a couple hours, vs paint jail for a year. Wrap that thing!!

yea, I just hate the way it comes out, it’s never great. I was guaranteed 3 weeks to paint it, I doubt that but it’s worth a shot. Also sending the intake out to get the CNC lighting done from CDI. When that gets back the intake, fuel rails, motor plate, and fuel cell are going to powder coat.
Put in some hours on the car to in hope to get it to paint asap, got the upper window latch installed on the passenger side and painted the window frame. Then I moved over to start tackling the driver window, anyone that has installed Lexan will tell you it take forever, they are right. Im really happy with how they came out and can’t wait for this car to be all one color!!
Haven’t updated this in a few months, been really busy but the car is finally at the body shop! Enjoy some random photos of some of the small things that were finished.
I changed my mind 10 times lol, but switched it when I dropped the car off at the body shop when the painter mixed up a sample. It’s going to be 93 Cobra Teal Metallic!

I was :/ what a waste of money on paint but I sold what I didn’t use off so it wasn’t a massive loss.
The bodywork has started, got the roof glued on and the front end body lines and gaps close.
As the car is off I send out a few parts to have them powder coated, this thing is looking sick! Can’t wait to get it back in the car after paint. But until then I’ll just stare at it lol
