I’m thinking 8.9s won’t be a problem. You’ll hit that during your shakedown runs.

I hope so! Little update the heads have shipped from Frankenstein and are on the way to LME, where the shortblock is waiting. I hope to have some numbers in 1 to 2 weeks!! Also I ordered up a M&M shifter.

Good.
Please post some photos of the heads when you receive them.

The heads are going right to LME so the only time I will see them is bolted to the motor.

it’s going to! I haven’t seen too many Freakshow intakes on engines in the car, can’t wait.

Another Piece of the puzzle was delivered today

Today was a good day for the car, lots of parts were delivered! I was iffy on if this switch plate would fit but with a little bit of cutting it should work great. If you have never seen Cartek products you should check them out, we have used them on road race cars and I really like the ease of instillations. Huge shoutout to Eric at MWC this rear is what dreams are made of, quality part and cant wait to get it in the car.

One of my favorite builds, is that Proth400 with forward and direct aluminum drums or just the direct drum?

Very cool!! Sucks the LT1 car was totaled being it was a 1 owner family car, but how lucky to get almost the same car during those events.

I sold it locally to a friend of mine. Was a great rear but it wasn’t going to hold the power that I’m going to give this MWC 9”
