Thanks Darth, She leaks a little of almost everything right now. I cannot wait to get that tired 406 and Muncie out (Someone removed the BorgWarner trans before i got it).
Video from yesterday as I prepare for the removal/swap.

Here's another cam that's similar to what's already been mentioned. It's been over a year and a half and I wouldn't change a thing. Perfect manners and it just pulls HARD from the get go. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...cam-build.html

Impressive numbers! I would certainly be happy with that performance. My heads are CNC'd LS3 heads as well.

I've had a 226/234 115+4 cam in my LS3 motivated Vette for almost 2 year now. Wouldn't change a thing. Not my usual as I always look back on my builds and do the shoulda, coulda, woulda, maybe tweak or change this or that second guessing game. I'm no camshaft expert, but this one makes me happy.

What car? Just curious, I've got a Miata with an LS in it....

I swapped my GPI SS4 cam for Darths cam. Car drives like a dream and has torque and power EVERYWHERE now. The torque curve follows the stock cam on E85 to 5200is and then builds a few more all the way out as well as power. I tuned the car on 93, i am sure i can get some more out of it on ethanol. I did swap to a z51 gear set and 3.90 gears. Car gets a tick over 26 MPG on a trip now! It weighs roughly 3400 with me in it in daily driver form. The good thing about your trans am is you can get a 4.30 gear if you choose a larger cam but me personally after going through it i would stick with something in the 22x/23x range and have the best of both worlds. Sweet ride and enjoy!

If you have to ask yourself if your cam is to big is kinda like asking yourself if you drink to much.

I agree with everyone else; too much cam for a stock displacement LS3 with stock heads. PTV would almost certainly be an issue as well.

Those specs are almost as aggressive as the cam I originally had in my 427ci LS3. And as an occasional driver, it was a serious handful.....A6 trans.

In a daily driven, stock displacement, I would say the most aggressive and manageable cam would be something along the lines of the: BTR Stage-3 --- 229*/244*, 113* + 3*

In my daily driven Impala (H/C LS3), the Lingenfelter GT1-1 specs out at 229*/242*, 114* + 0*.

if I knew in 2015 what I know now, I probably would've gone with the BTR cam.
