Quick update, ran out of time before winter to get everything done. This was more than just an engine swap, I changed a lot of things at once so it took more time to finesse things and get it looking right. Ive been chomping at the bits all winter for nice weather to come and finally had some time to work on it, even got to bring my son to help so he can hear it for the first time.
Aside from wiring in the new E-fans and installing a new shifter cable that I conveniently broke years ago and didn't know about, it's about ready to go for a drive. Also doing some base tuning myself to get things squared away before heading to the dyno this summer. Luckily I found a few small issues and was able to correct them before the dyno shops bends me over.. lol
Been a long struggle to get to this point but finally took the TBSS on the road this past weekend for the first time with the 402. I swear I couldn't stop smiling and everyone was turning their head to see wtf was coming down the road or idling in the parking lot.
Been working with Ben at GPI on the tuning and so far everything has been great. Just working out the small bugs as they pop up. Still needs a nice wash and wax but you guys will understand the excitement in the photo.

Thanks Dave! It's taken much longer than anticipated but you know how things go with life, plus my son started playing ice hockey and apparently he's a VERY good goalie so there's been little free time.

Tuning has been going well. Sorting out the small problems as they come up. Ben at GPI has been great to work with and every revision it gets better and better. Drivability seems good so far, could definitely use a converter change but all in due time.
