I will have to look at options for a single pump with AN feed and return lines.

I think he said that he was going to do that, but I will definitely ask! Thanks

I am planning 8 between the pump and regulator and 6 from the regulator to the fuel rail.

True! The financing for this will be less than the 2014 CTSV that I was going to sell the TA for a down payment on, and it will be paid off twice as fast.

And the kicker....this was my wife's idea!!

No MSD intake w/LS7 heads? Based on what I've read it's the only way to go, unlike the cathedral port heads. I thought Tony was a huge fan.

we have not discussed the intake. I forgot about the MSD when I made the list.

That 2.5in exhaust is bad thing. If you can, 3.5 front to rear w/ a really good X pipe if you can fit it. Also, what Double06 said, have Steve drill for the bay to bay breathiing. The Improved racing crank scraper is well worth it. Those three items all together are probably an easy 40- 50hp at the level you intend.

PS: If you need it, I have a cheap, brand new Edelbrock 2-piece cover I am selling, also.

I don't think exhaust is going to happen right now. I will wait until I can afford the Kooks 3" over the axle kit.

Nice to see another cool build thread.
The intake choice will definitely be the MSD over the fast.
It makes more power and torque at every rpm.

My wife likes to drive the car, but has zero desire to race it. We were just talking about this at supper last night. Car has already gone low 6’s in the 1/8th and I added a few more psi of boost since then. Doubt it goes any faster since I was taking timing out before to go faster. She’s encouraging me to buy a trailer and put a cage in it now since I mentioned getting kicked out and she doesn’t want us to stop racing. I want to enjoy it as is for another year as is. She said, but I want to start winning and gave me the green light to do what ever is needed to keep progressing.

You have to pick your battles in life carefully. My wife worked at the concessions at a local short track where I raced before I met her. She spilled a drink in the late Dave Allison’s lap one night when he was visiting. True story.
Got home from work late one evening years ago, and my wife wasn’t in the house. I went out to the shop and found her under my race car, finishing up some rivets on some new interior sheet metal, to help me get the car ready for a race. True story.
She’s ok...

Given the PSI of fuel injection (GM 58 psi) the big size of the line is less needed but still important. The old cars with carbs and the 6-7 psi and puller pumps you needed a 1/2 inch line. If you are allocating $$$, I would definiteley budget for the first thing when you can get a bigger exhaust a dual 3 inch or an equivelant if this is a 1 tube system. The break point begins (2.5 to 3 inch) at about 500 hp and by 600 hp it is a must. Also muffler is very important a chambered muffler begins to hurt at higher levels. If you can do a straight through like a Corsa etc., that would be great. They have come a long way on mufflers and drone I just put on a Corsa 3 inch over axle Sport on mine sounds nice not too loud and no drone. Its a straight through muffler with some internal stuff for drone pretty light the whole axle back was about 40 pounds on a C6 Corvette.
