Thanks for sharing Tusky. That short duration camshaft didn't do it any favors if an NA application and my guess is the compression was less than 11:1.

My theory is pick rough cam specs first for a street car, then the best heads in your budget.
Those are nice numbers Mavn. If I recall the Momo 235 heads made not quite as much but with a slightly smaller cam? I'm curious how the torque curve compares to Darths build.
The biggest thing I wonder is how long the valvetrain will last on the street?
No one using L8T bottom end parts yet?
Would a non stroked 6.0 or 6.2 make more hp? Rev higher?
I've gone back and forth with ls3 heads so many times, but in all the data I see comparing them to cathedrals (stock and aftermarket), the rec are always lower compression and no valve job.
Small cam and great flowing heads is my dream.
You can start at whatever RPM you want but you have to shift at some point. Having it feel like an NA 5.3 at 5000 and a stock 6.0 at 6000 isnt very sweet. I had a similar cam in a 416 with 3.70 gear, it wasnt as sweet as I wanted it to be, was closer to VTEC than an LS stroker. I guess you can try revving it to 8500 so it only falls to 7000 on the shift.
