Anything will Work if Thought out. See 1 you like Follow the basic guidelines from the build seen. Factory heads with Work will Work just as Aftermarket OTB will work same as a Aftermarket head being ported will work.

Think I may have Covered Any and all heads thought about and a combination using a
4.030 bore and 4 inch arm. Name your Hp goal and Rpm.
Then your Actual Budget on heads and intake.

I'm just waiting for Summit to send him a free solid roller setup so we can see what an 821 head can really do when turned up. Hopefully this motor has decent rods for 8k rpm

Hp is made according to ones Budget.
my factory Ls3 heads was done with budget in mind. Factory heads, Ported, setup for a solid roller + rockers. 🤔 About the same as A complete Aftermarket Ls3 head set up for a hydraulic roller.

Purchase of a cam is a wash. I needed 1 with either thought.

Small bore LS7's if you can swing it dude. That cam has more duration than the MS spec'd cam in my LSX427 but a lot less valve lift.

Anyone can swing for a small bore Ls7 head if you know A porter. I did and do. Stole this thought and there casting. I wonder what casting is used?

Chris Frank heads being ported. Flowed by Chris Bennett told guys Way before anyone else Was using Chris Frank heads with Limited knowledge.

I am He. And I've been around and Gathered more Knowledge and Facts.

The 540+rwhp Ls3 was common sense and the Reference to FED Ls3 heads. Not Knowledge of.

From what I've learned is Anything can Work with a great idea and anything thought of Has already been done. So there's Nothing new about Hp and how to get it.

Pick a head, & your budget Decides that is the funny part.

That was the MAST LS7 small bore with 2.165 valve but a different valve angle Just throwing it in for Gonna make those kinds of numbers then swing for the fences.

The major Hp gain Differences from any of the heads Shown in that 408 test, will be once you get to chasing Hp aka Race cam / higher compression etc. But on the avg Everyday build that test shows it's all about what you wanna use for a Head. It looks like they All Avg about the same Peak numbers +/- 10 here same thing on Tq. Just guess numbers on Differences.

SSTx I asked Darin the Same thing about Mast Ls7 small bore heads. Better casting 4 Sure. Was told you have what Mast offers with a Cheaper casting and Matched To you given Combination. No major Differences would be Seen. Now the Ls3 12degree Mast head vs the Factory Ls3 heads was Different and showed how Using a more Race style engine would Show the Disparities. & The Ls7 vs Ls7 was Very competitive and SDPC was shy just a few Hp's with Factory heads vs the Mast.

But we're talking a Common 408 which the cathedral head test was What I expected. No major Differences. It's not asking for Enough Air/Fuel to Show any major Differences.

My Teacher has Done a 440 with TFS ls7 heads that made Major Hp. Do you not think that the SpeedMasters Ls7 heads he did right around the same time wouldn't make similar Hp if the CSA were matched.

There's a thing called a paragraph, it's where you string a series of coherent sentences together to make a point. All your babbling could be summed up in one simple paragraph. You should simply say hey call this guy(your head porter of the week) and ask him to point you in the right direction because all I do is spew what they feed me. 247/255 .626 .604 114+5 cam
Milled .070 Stock ls3 heads with a 5 angle valve job
fast 102
17/8 headers
3" x pipe
NPP exhaust

Cars getting a circle d 4000 converter before its tuned.
