You can Make Hp with Pretty much anything. It's all in The Knowledge of and the ***** to go after it.

It's got a few trick parts in the heads and valvetrain, and a huge amount of knowledge/knowhow in it between Erik at HKE and Greg Good though, but nothing that can't be duplicated with the right amount of money.
Of course, here's an example of what a standard-port TFS cylinder head and hyd. roller is capable of in the hands of the the same people:

There's Rules to this 💩 if you want a good Combination.
One you don't Purchase a 3 or 4 inch Intake runner length and Don't Plan to go to 8500.
It's the Law of Avg's and Where you Grade yourself in between Idle and your Given Peak.
Gear the car Correctly for the: Rpm,Weight, and intended Use.
Pick a head 1st and its Intake. It's a Complete System.
Then cam/springs
Gear it to match ☝️.
The cam Should be Based on the cars Weight and Intended use. Should make for a great Build No Matter What head is used. 😉

If a 408 can get 600 rwhp with 243's? What did they stop Making or Porting 243"s and making 408's and Larger sized engines?
Look @ the guys Spec's with the 600rwhp 415 & 243"s? Does this look like Something you'd be Willing to do? Compression could go up some?
Hp is like a Fight you've Got to Either want it / Out Think it
Or
Throw $ @ it.
Both Require spending $ not as much so on the front end with the 1st one.
I Live to think of how to Out smart my Opponent that's not even there nor do they know that there seen as a Opponent.

I used to work with a shop that did R&D for cup teams. They paid us millions and millions...repeat, millions and millions to find 30-35 hp. Corona could have done it for under a grand...it’s so easy a caveman can do it.

I'd ask what's the Difference with you guys Mamo top ends Besides the Tq from the 2.9ish CSA vs a good Factory ported head with Similar compression not the typical I had 11.5 now I got 12.5. or the ported intake.
