What heads for a N/A 408ci?
It's got a few trick parts in the heads and valvetrain, and a huge amount of knowledge/knowhow in it between Erik at HKE and Greg Good though, but nothing that can't be duplicated with the right amount of money.

You can Make Hp with Pretty much anything. It's all in The Knowledge of and the ***** to go after it.
One you don't Purchase a 3 or 4 inch Intake runner length and Don't Plan to go to 8500.
It's the Law of Avg's and Where you Grade yourself in between Idle and your Given Peak.
Gear the car Correctly for the: Rpm,Weight, and intended Use.
Pick a head 1st and its Intake. It's a Complete System.
Then cam/springs
Gear it to match ☝️.
The cam Should be Based on the cars Weight and Intended use. Should make for a great Build No Matter What head is used. 😉

The very same 408 + 243' heads @ 601rwhp & 11½ Comp with More compression Would be going in the Right direction and or a Larger combination.
Once a person gets that you can Make Hp with Pretty Much Anything. You notice that HP doesn't Care Who's Name is on it for Badging. Reason for Knowing the Basics and it's Formulas and what's Possible.
I researched builds until I found someone to Show me how to use the Formula. Now I see how they go hand in hand. People get Stuck on CFM and Not the combination of parts.

If a 408 can get 600 rwhp with 243's? What did they stop Making or Porting 243"s and making 408's and Larger sized engines?
Look @ the guys Spec's with the 600rwhp 415 & 243"s? Does this look like Something you'd be Willing to do? Compression could go up some?

All you guys have a Undersized head With Comp in the Upper range and typically a solid roller. Don't forget your MSD Nor your Yellow Terra. What's your cam Spec's 250's Avg.
But it's not a copy of seen 1 you've Seen them all.
