This isn’t a street car, right? Need more info. It’s doable, a LLSR would be a lot easier. Better plan on a good:pricey budget and get with someone who’s has a good rep. Mamo. comes to mind but others can do it what state?

You can't use that much Whp on the street. I'm guessing you plan to run it at the track occasionally, but also want to cruise around town. If that's the case, then your goal should be something other than a dyno number. If you're going for a 10 sec car at the track that you can cruise around town, then that would be a more achievable goal. Getting 600 Whp N/A with an auto trans is difficult, and probably unnecessary. It would probably be cheaper to boost a junk yard 5.3 if you just want 600 Whp. Can you explain your goals and how you plan to use this engine?

Use the TFS 235 or 245 Heads if using Cathedral...
Ls3 heads use a good set of ported Factory heads...

Big names get you Higher prices for a simple Combination...

250's cam @ .050👍 11.5 to 12.5 compression the higher the compression the Tighter the tuning window...12.0 sounds perfect. As stated above Automatic eats Hp on a wheel based Dyno.

Nice Solid Roller for insurance Probably even possible with a plastic intake and S/R.
I would think the 6l80 would eat even more than the 4 speeds. IDK but a auto is generally Quicker and Relaxing to drive.

Not dependant on E85? If available ok... But Not Needed. Take away the .100 extra stroke

418 to 402 are all basically the same take the .100 away from a 427-430 Ls3 using a 4.100 to 4.125 crank and you'd Lose what 4 to 6hp and 12 -20 foot pounds vs a 4 inch crank... Same cam the 4.0 would gain More Rpm 😉 Right around the same Hp with a slight Tq Loss....

It's doable but Bigger is better and More street Friendly...

Stall size using a Automatic works into play along with Weight & rear gear....

Something to ponder.... depending on how you use your vehicle..

It's not Cool to have a car you wouldn't like to drive...just for some Magical number.

The 1st question is how much does the car weigh or plans of weight.

If a light car is used say 3000 or less you Wouldn't care about 600rwhp you'd feel it and it would be shown thru a MPH or ET if geared and stalled correctly.

Diet Coke made 600 + with a 430ci @ 14+ Compression & a Hydraulic roller with a Holley 105/102mm TB ...don't forget the 4l80e trans and 5200 Stall..

Math = 418 Solid Roller 13+ compression using a 4500 in way or the other..... basically Flyin's 418 without 8k

Heavy Cars need to Have TQ so Cubic inches or Forced Induction HELPS.

600rwhp doesn't make a fast car alone....

We can all see a 660 fwhp 418 ls3 Malibu Station wagon @ 3200 lbs

Kill pretty much anything that the avg guy who has 600+Rwhp

I expect my own 408 to make near 740 fwhp if I'm lucky enough I couldn't care less what the Rwhp shows...

Weight -MPH - 60ft

Btw I know of no one using a 6l80e for the avg Kill Story...🤫

600rwhp using a 418 & 6l80e is some Try hard not Die hard 💩

13.5+ Compression needed so E85 life style not 92 octane when you like..and your not driving Everywhere on 🌽⛽

I figure it's a Vette or a Camaro
if a Vette yeah

But if a Camaro 👉 build a 430 to 454 Re-sleeve or a Turbo 418 as the car is Toooo heavy ...... Lite guys love to see Pork
