Default Greg Good TFS Ls 7 heads

Just got my heads back today from Greg.i know you guys like looking at head **** . I will soon be 70 this is the first time in a while I felt like I was about to get a woody on looking at these heads .anyway he opened intake runner to 286cc install a 2.250 intake valve and 1.615 exhaust valve with a 65 cc combustion chamber.these are going on 450 in a c6 hopefully I can get the car in the 9s
flow#
.200 intake 153 ex 116
.300. 231. 160.8
.400. 308. 206
.500. 360. 237.7
.600. 400.6. 256.7
.650. 410. 261.5
.700. 414. 266
i have no idea what flowbench he used. he told me he put a lot effort into these heads and I have no reason to doubt him.
i have to say I appreciate the man for answering all my questions

Heads look/flow great Mike. I see a little work done on the water jacket holes where the casting gets thick and blocks the water ways a little.

You can get Greg to do heads without HPC just on contacting him directly I would think....
Money off the Books 🤫 with receipt. 😉. IDK 🤐

Greg avg cost depending on base of the heads and how far your wanting 2 go runs Avg to Whoa there, seen Mast heads listed here with $5k worth of work...

All depends on how far one is wanting to go....

FIgure for work done would run $1200 to $2000 if Greg has a program for the TFS which I'm sure he has or one close to which helps with time which is money. He's easy to contact, whether his FB page or in a YB pm, it may take a little longer as he doesn't post everyday on YB. Think I may still have his number...and or contact information....as GG help me with setting up my ls3 valve train

Also corrected me about 3wks ago on Mike Jones cams and Billy Godbold's low shock cams.

I know your wanting a exact number in Cost... Generally idea till the thread starter post .... There all around the same cost depending on if they have a program...then a clean up of the Port....

Contact Greg 1st then Pick your weapon...as he'll be able to give you a reference of heads he's done with ET and or Dyno numbers + cost like:

CID @ $4000

Brodix @ around $3800+ and casting of rocker pad style

TFS ls7 @ $2200 part # TFS-3271B003-C01 + porting $3400 to $4000

Get the whole picture of what's available & possible + cost as he's probably ported a set. 👍

Finally got around to work on my heads today . I checked the piston to valve clearance.194 on intake and .176 on exhaust should be able to miss a few shifts before the valves kiss the pistons.had to order new pushrods today my where to short I need 8.250 and 8.300 long. I set the heads up with 1237x and tool steel retainer with mini 8 locks. I’m particular just look at the valve

Hitting 400/257 CFM @ .600 lift, wow, nice heads. Makes me wonder what MMS gets out of those castings.

Can’t really make a comparison as Tony’s casting is finished at 265cc. This set is 286cc.

I follow Minkyinks cam spec for now 255/269 @50 114.5+4.5 advance 702/683 solid roller . I’m just hoping to get the car in the high 9s on motor. I’m setup with a 150 shot if I want to go faster.
