Scoggin Dickey is good people. Nicky Fowler still runs the show, afaik. Won't find a more honest guy. Last I knew, Kurt Urban was working there in the race shop. 2 world class dudes, imho

Finished last Tuesday, it's running and AWESOME!!! Putting some miles on it and then it's dyno time. Went to a local car show last weekend (over 300 cars), had people around it all day and brought home some hardware.

BEAUTIFUL car!!! Love the green instruments. Great attention to detail!! Like the merge collector headers. Two things I love about musclecars from that era:

1: No EPA/Cali crap (not as much, at least), and
2: Lots of room to run exhausts, etc.

OldSchool, that is a beautiful car! Congratulations on the hardware that you brought home and the fact that you got that LS7 in and running in a short amount of time.

Got rid of the "not much, at least". NO hassles here for pre-75 cars at all.

I'll just leave this here.

I too bought this engine and am very close to getting it running. I was wondering about the dyno you had posted. Is that engine or rwhp?
What mods have you done besides cold air intake and headers? I am using a MSD 103 intake,NW 103TB, Kooks LT headers and cold air intake. I am hoping to get over 530rwhp
Thanks
Jonathan

What ecu are you using? What donor vehicle? Since I had an LS3 was compatible with the LS7 harness. I did need a MAP sensor and modification to my LS3 oil pan.
I used HP tuners full bolt ons minus manifold and throttle body upgrades.

I just purchased Brodix BR7 heads which are ported and milled going on soon, I hope.

Needless to say, warranty is probably gone.. I had it installed by an independant shop anyhow.

You should fairly easily hit those numbers if you have Long tubes and Manifold.. full bolt on z06's usually hit 500whp without a cam.

Well it's going in my 69 Camaro. It has Ford 9" with 370 gears and T56 magnum F. I'm using Holley Terminator x-max ecu and wiring harness. It should be ready soon.

Holley 302-3. I used ict billet engine mounts and kooks headers. Power steering is fine no issues. I used Wegner accessory drive.

Nice! Makes me want to tear mine back down and paint it green. In all seriousness though, I do wish I had gone with a GM brown metallic. Not toooo many brown 70’s out there.

Brown? If you paint it brown, then it would be.... brown.

The only cars that should be brown are in the military or collect garbage.
