But I could see where you are coming from. lol. I would track the car more if 42, quaker or norwalk weren't so busy. Unless I add a bangshift billy or something to the car to keep the launches more consistent. Hell, whenever we take Ben's car to MIR for the vette rental, it takes him at least 3 or 4 passes before he's back in the groove to launch it. Forget about getting a pass every 45 minutes and losing all muscle memory.

Prospeed cable pedal conversion showed up yesterday. Very nice quality piece. My original plan was hoping there would be enough cable to go out the side of the cowl where the wiper motor wiring used to exit the cabin (also where I had the throttle body harness exiting) but it won't be long enough for that. So I will see where the hole needs to end up and drill through the firewall for it. Cable will probably need shortened a bit if I am going to connect it to the rear throttle body. Might be long enough though to connect it to the front and not cut it down.

Quick update! Got the car in the body shop, my boy got the hood fit up with the latches. Currently working on the air pan for the TB's. Next will be the exhaust, an ac line reroute due to the headers, then basically the whole car gets painted lol.
We talked and he will be dropping the floor of the air pan in the back to grab more surface area at the windshield. By my math, the surface area of all the throttle body openings equals around 31.8 sq in. The pan opening at the back as it is, is around 17 x 2" (~34 sqin).. So with dropping the floor, should gain another inch or so in height, taking it to at least 50 sqin.
