All Pro can make 800 depending on port size used and engine combination.

fwiw, i was dead certain i was goona go with all pro for my most recent build. i called bob up, and got a price. i said well i should call at least 1 more place, that place had a brodix offering as well as all pro options. he said all pros really arent worth the extra money unless you are boosting and can take advantage of the thicker head of the all pro. we were talking almost 1100 dollar difference through this vendor for the all pro offering vs the brodix offering. when i contacted bob and repeated this, he got pretty nasty on me and basically refused to offer any services for me after this. i ended up going with a completely different head porter.
after i made this choice, my tuner said that he has seen the all pros have coolant leaks numerous times that couldnt be fixed easily, and my builder said all pros are decent but they really are an old design and brodix is an up to date head with so many options and from a cost standpoint makes no sense to choose a different head.

Richard @ WCCH has more up to date programming. I asked Bob about his All Pro -2 & the as cast cost was crazy... down right... kinda pissed me off. Like $1500 each as cast..
ftw CID or Brodix BS.
The difference is the Material above the runners Brodix BS has a 5.4 length valve Same as Mast or the Non retro All Pro ls7. CID are 5.8 inches and F710' are 5.6's.

your paying for the thicker casting, but brodix offers a thick casting in the BS series cheaper.

The LSW is the Same All Pro casting with a 5.4 valve. LsW LS7 heads are All Pro heads nothing New but a updated cnc program. Retro heads utilize standard ls7 valve lengths at around 5.2 inches

Retro LS7 data isn't listed.
But pricing is listed Retro and Ls7-1

Ok so this being an NA setup, in your opinion, what would be the best head to go with? CID? Brodix? Mamo 265? or All Pro?

Best Bang for the Buck in casting is Brodix Big Spring series....
Key is who does the Cnc work. Also what size is the head in terms of CSA/MCSA or CC of the runners.
👉 To match the given rpm and size of the Combination. A healthy 427 going to 7500 requires a certain size head.
My thing with any porter is this, if a better head is given to, theres no excuse on why a cheaper inferior head is better. Btw the Brodix BS casting is cheaper than all listed and Thick. $1600 for the pair as cast. Pick your own porter. If they've got a cnc program your done around $2800 to $3k and a Custom built head made specifically for your combination and the head still has room to grow. 302cc + if needed.

most the porters out there who dont have a "shop casting" seem to offer a brodix porter casting. i think they are the flavor right now because they addressed most of the issues of a stock head and most importantly, the porter casting is cheap so theres money for the porters to make. I dont think they are cast in USA tho if thats important, but im 99% certain all pro and Cid is.

Brodix is all cast in the USA. They have their own foundry, I believe. The Brodix are the bang for the buck winners, all day. CID is arguably best overall. All the big name porters have a CID base causing with their port on it. Greg Good, BES, MBE all have CID specific port combo's that rock.

get the BR7 BS it'll be thicker than the typical BR7. Example of Greg Good and Brodix. Shaft mounted rockers required with the BS series.

i went with BES, def on the higher end cost wise for a BR7 but i think it will work out......wont know for another 8 months or so tho. the only thing is they have one cnc program, so if you are going turbo or n/a you get the same head. using a 2.2 intake and 1.625 exh i think is better for a turbo, where an n/a build might do a touch better with larger than a 2.2 intake and decrease the exh to fit.....again im just speculating but either way i know it should perform great either way......i might be reading into valve sizes here too much but figured id mention it.
