I did that
BTW if done I need a set Free for my idea...
The intake is common... You could raise the runner to C5r height and still use the Ls7 intake with a 5.9 inch valve so .300 higher than the standard ls7. ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE PORT SIZE AND INTAKE BOLT HOLES. All Pro and Cary's c5r heads both used a typical ls7 intake with different mounting points for each head.

You can keep the rocker stands...Bigger spring pads and more material in the casting itself.

Raised runner with a typical ls7 raised runner raised more than the factory runner and still works with a factory ls7 intake? Valve length is 5.6 same as the FED F710. I know CID uses a 5.8 length valve. C5r used a 5.9 valve.

RHS Pro Elite LS7 CNC-ported cylinder heads are the aftermarket's first high performance, LS-style heads to feature a raised intake runner design that fits both stock and aftermarket LS7 intake manifolds and valvetrain setups. Pro Elite aluminum heads are designed with a 12 degree valve angle and unique .220 in. raised intake runners to provide a better line of sight into the cylinders and allow for an improved short turn. They utilize the popular LS 6-bolt head design, making them compatible with both the RHS LS race block, GM LSX, and OEM blocks. They can be used in small and large cubic inch hardcore street applications. Step up to these RHS Pro Elite LS7 CNC-ported cylinder heads for true high performance.
Cary of ET performance saying he uses the same intake. Post #6
we do machine the ls7 bolt pattern in our c5r as a standard unless requested otherwise.

Add side cant also....You'd just need to use computer software for the design for Factory rocker arm placement.
The Elderbrock Ls3 heads use gm Factory LT architecture in its heads with a 11 degree valve angle and 2.x side cant and still uses factory rockers.

I made you a 1000 hp head on a 500 budget... you just need a thicker casting like Profiler who makes the C I D head or All Pro. Start off with a clean sheet not a factory based 5.2 inch length valve Ls7 head.

😉 CID LS7 Small Bore Hydraulic roller head for use with Factory Rocker arms. 5.8x length valves. Work done by Ceasar of CT porting.

What runner size, chamber (cc), and valve sizes of the above pictured head. I’ve been on the fence about BR3 or even BR7-3 heads for my TT build but had yet to see anything from CID castings under 4.1 bore.

Thought about posting in the ls3 vs ls7 thread but that fella is looking for 4.125 bore heads so did not want to mis-direct it. I’m just trying to retain a fraction of info here.

...IDK cc or valve sizes. CT porting and Greg G each do a Small Bore also Hooper to i think. Each head would be a custom order to match the combination.

I just finished dynoing a 2009 Z06 last night. Stock LS7 heads ported by Advanced induction. Car put down 643 rwhp and 547 torque with a MAMO ported MSD intake and Nick Williams 103 TB and 2" headers. That's pretty stout.
