Excited would be an understatement but I'll keep it simple. Last outing of the year for me. Only got 2 passes and made them count. TONS of people at the track so I entered the stick shift class to get around it, even though it was all mid 8 sec cars. I just wanted more hits and am always happy to support the class. It was cooler than last weekend but DA was not great. I just drove the car like i was trying to break it and it said gimme more. Thats all for me this year. Trans will get taken out over the next months and we'll go for bottom 9s next year if all goes well!

I see were your going to have your transmission faceplate,how much do you think it will improve your ET?
Damn you sounded like you were doing a great job shifting .

Appreciate it!

I think a reasonable estimate is 2 tenths. definitely potential for little more and some additional mph out of it since every time i improve the 1-2, it picks a ton out back. the outside clips of the car always sound much slower than what logs say its doing, not that it matters. i'd really like to see a 9.30 out of it with just trans work.

Trans is out and will get dropped off for faceplating after the new year. Will drop off the diff to get inspected and refreshed if needed too. All the splines and everything look great though.

Honestly not sure why people complain about dropping the trans on these cars. One of the easier things I've done to be honest!

it's the first time I've personally done it. When i bought the drivetrain a few years back, rpm installed it all at once

Removing the TT adds in a little more work. Not to mention full exhaust all the way to the back. But it really isn't a terrible job overall.

I think I can drop mine in about 15-20min with how i have everything setup.

For sure. Still rather do this than h/c on the car.

Yes. It's about out of gear if it mph's much more. So I'll need to switch to a 27in tire if I want to keep the gear as is.

That's at the hard limit of the ecu, RPM wise? If so, would rather see you do an aftermarket ecu over a bigger tire.

Agreed. But the intake and powerband with the current cam are beyond tapped out by 8192rpm limit. It definitely needs an ecu upgrade, but everything else needs changed to take advantage of it too. Going to a 27 is the most simple path for the current setup
