You have no idea what all is wrong with that engine.
Plan on rebuilding the entire rotating assembly.

6 and 7 are spun . It’s already on a stand and he’s going 416 Turbo. Hasn’t decided if he’s selling or rebuilding but I have first dibs on it at whatever spun rod engines go for . Was looking for input on people’s thoughts on worth .

No longer an intact engine. Price it per part, whichever ones are still usable.

If u buy it, will it come with the LSA setup too? If it’s a complete LSA ( lower, lid assembly with sensors, fuel rail injectors and SC drive pulleys minus the waterpump?

you really need to find out exactly what’s it come with. 2k long block that needs rebuilding. Maybe a littler more. Add more value wise if it’s a complete LSA set up.

if he wants turbo 416 LS3 he may not want the LSA You really need to figure out what exactly would you be getting.

complete engine minus all belt accessory systems as he needs those for his 416 that’s already being on its way to his house.
we pulled it and then inspected it . I’m only entertaining the idea of it bc I actually have a spare crank along with fresh bearings collecting dust on my shelf. Just trying to get an idea of what would be a fair offer without being insulting

That’s why he would be the one to offer it to a friend. Obviously a good friend will get a better price. The super charger pulley setup just drives the SC and wouldn’t be of any use to him. This is why I specifically said without the water pump. He could use the injectors but would most likely need bigger set

this basically boils down to what your friends wants to do. He may just decide on buying a short/long block to save downtime. Q

thr 6.2 LSA is not going back in . The 416 long block and intake arrived Saturday and the car is already at the fab shop for turbo kit. It’s clear the engine isn’t gonna go back in. He just hasn’t decided if he wants to rebuild it for a spare or let it go. His Camaro is a street dig car . Again, I was looking for input on worth . I was thinking around the 3500/4k mark . I already have everything to rebuild it .
