It is using the 2001 spec LS6 cam. I believe lift numbers are .525/.525 but I do not know durations.

This month in Hot Rod says the LS2 cam has .575 lift, better flowing heads than LS1, larger throtle body(90mm) ,10.9 compression, better exhaust manifolds. There is a lot of good info in the article about the new LS2. There was no mention of duration.

I dont think the .575 lift is right...They went back to traditional valves over the sodium filled units...THey would have severe reliability issues with that much lift...I expect the camshaft to be somewhere around the '01 LS6 based on the dyno numbers the LS2 us putting out.

Wrong information. The drivetrain introduction of the new Corvette included information on the LS2 parts. The cam IS the 2001 spec'd LS6 camshaft with the cam sensor moved for the new front pick up in the LS2.

My GM birdy said the LS2's are running the same cam as the 2001 Z06.
