Default Who has an LS2 Intake on an LS1 ??

Does anyone have one working on an ls1 yet??

I know there are issues with the fuel rail, map sensor and throttle body size.

I would like to use a ported throttle body on the LS2 intake and reuse my fuel rails if possible. I know there are larger potential gains with going to a 90MM throttle body. But I suspect that an LS2 intake with a ported throttle body will be better than my 99 intake(for sure) or an ls6 intake with a ported throttle body too. This would be a better starting point when I do headers and cam this winter. This would leave me open to more potential down the road as well.

Any thoughts??

I am using one with a FAST 90mm TB. I used stock fuel rails which have been modified to eliminate the crossover. I then welded some 3/8" pipe connectors onto the ends of each rail, and used braided hoses and AN connectors as supply lines.

The spacers that everyone is talking about is just to space the stock rails up enough so that the crossover clears the top of the manifold? I wshould be fine with aftermarket rails then... right?

No, you will need to have some custom rails made. The mounting holes for the rails are in different locations.

Well, I fabbed up the rails myself from a set of stock LS1 rails, so I guess like $50 by the time you add in AN fittings and hose.

Hey Lon,u should try and get some rails and mod them along with the fittings and sell them as a kit.Maybe contact Nasty Performance or another sponsor and have them sell he kit for fair price.

I'd surley get in line for a complete kit to put a ls2 intake on my car

Well, if I had the time to do it, I'd love too. I'm sure Nate will come out with some rails that will fit.

So only one?? I was under the impression that there were more of these out there. LONSlO, What was your prior setup? Are you happy with your current setup?

from what I've read, the spacers are for using the LS2 intake with LS2 fuel rail and stock LS1 injectors. The spacers raise the fuel rail .300 because the LS1 injectors are that much longer than LS2's.

The problem I see is that the LS2 fuel rail doesn't have a fuel pressure regulator made into it. Does anyone know how to solve this? I guess maybe you'd have one installed in the line somewhere?

the f-car ls1 doesn't have a regulator built into it either. It has a tiny pulse dampener, but no regulator.

Only the 1997-98 vettes got a 2 line return system with regulator.

Do you know if you can change to a non return line if you have a 98 vette?
I just installed 424. Waiting for AFR heads done by TEA. Chevy dealer wants a test car to do before and after, will give me the Ls2 manifold and 90MM TB.
When I get it I would like to know what I have to do. Any info would be apreciated.

What seals did you use to take up the gap difference on the injectors?

I wouldnt jump to conclusions...a 90mm fast/tb on a stock ls1 would make no gains either..but is a solid 20-25 minimum on a built motor

you can, I think you can just replace it with all 99+ stuff. I've seen those parts go cheap on ebay.

If you go that route, send me a pm, im looking for a 97/98 vette fuel rail.

I have an intake here and will have rails available very soon. The lower injector holes are slightly bigger and will require a different O-ring I am working on that as well. I will be selling the intake with our rails as kits.
