I believe that piece that is always mistaken for the regulator is a pulse damper- is smoothes out the choppy fuel flow caused by a single feed to 2 rails, as well as the shock waves caused by the injectors opening/closing.

In any case, that was no issue in the LS2 testing. In any case, ported TB/LS6 for me until I decide that 20hp is worth $1100.

People, stop saying it is his tune, or lack of fuel, or anything like that.

THE AIR/FUEL WAS TUNED on the dyno with a wideband, meaning the fueling was correct. There are not that many things to adjust at WOT. It's not like part throttle drivablility tuning, which takes much more work. The bottom line is this intake didnt perform!

Exactly.. I thought I would give you some time to comprehend.

And my testing will begin soon enough on a larger C.I. LS2 so we will see.

Play nice boys, or you find any cole in your stocking.
So what are you going to do with your LS2? Are you willing to "rent it" if you not using it. I was going to buy a set up until I read this. I would like to try it on my car and see if I get any better results.

I'm working on my LS2 intake install some more tonight. Lots of little things are slowing me down... have to grind my Mez EWP to get the intake & TB to fit (I've already ground the intake, and don't want to grind the TB just in case it needs to be returned to FAST for repair - the horror! ). My car's in the garage, my air compressor's out in my shop... gotta move the air compressor to the garage to get to the Mez to grind it. Uggh. Got to solder the other half of the MAP wires, fab up a throttle cable bracket & nitrous switch bracket, fit/ cut the Fernco coupler, and then I'm hoping to hit the dyno with it on Saturday morning. I'm going to take my LS6 intake, and swap while I'm on the dyno (that's the plan).
