Kris is leaving on the 27th.

I've been playing phone tag with them also with no returned calls from Kris. My motor was supposed to be completed the end of the year (paid for 100%) and I was just waiting on some dyno runs that they were supposed to run for the last 2 months to make a cam choice. I sure hope this turns out ok.....

I just got mine 2 weeks ago. They were ~2-3 weeks behind over the Christmas season, but still getting things done... As long as Kris is there, I wouldn't panic.

Does anyone know who's taking over for Kris at SDPC? I need to order a set of heads soon and need to know who to contact.

I can never get a call back from Marty.

The newest guy, Brian, has been pretty good about calling back.

SDPC is a really good company so I am sure they will have someone good, but it will be close to impossible to replace Kris for those of us on this forum.

So true. SDPC is one of the largest GM parts suppliers in the country and also stocked just as much aftermarket parts. Their prices are great, but the without a doubt Kris was the main reason for their success in the LS1 community with professional, courteous and overall great service. Hopefully someone from SDPC will see this and post up.

Default SDPC Update/Info for KJ and LS1Tech

To all the LS1Tech members;

My name is Brian Gruben (aka Big ***** G), and I will be your contact for all of KJ’s current and past projects. I will also be the new SDPC director for LS1Tech.

Kris is starting a new career in a new town and we here at SDPC wish him the best of luck and success! Kris and his wife had the opportunity to move to a new location so that they could both be closer to their families -- something that they had really desired!

As for me, I previously worked at SDPC for 10-years before leaving to work at a professional race engine machine shop for about 4-years. In my past roll at SDPC, I worked in the Performance Department in both sales and tech assistance, so I am not a newcomer to the industry! Nicky made me a wonderful offer to come back to this great organization and I look forward to meeting all of your expectations and needs. Some of you I may have dealt with in the past!

We are working on some new specials and engine combinations. We also just finished round 1 of some very interesting dyno testing on our 402’s! I am putting all of this together for results and info --- hope to have this posted by Monday. Great stuff is coming!

I am in the process of answering all of your PM's that were sent to KJ. I am going to try and have them done in the next few days. If you need to speak to me personally you can contact me at 800-456-0211 ext 354 or email me at bgruben@sdpc2000.com

Thanks!

Welcome on board, or back I guess!! I'm looking forward to talking with you in regards to building a 402 for my 2000 Trans Am. I just love the numbers that package is putting down and with the wiring harness available, it's so much easier to install! Nice to hear they got someone good to replace Kris.

Big ***** we have install two of those motors in the last few month's and should be doing more dyno testing on them soon. the first owner was very suprised at the numbers his Pre boost SDPC 402 made with 'only' 9:1 He was extremely worried about how it would run N/A till we got the Blower on it. To his suprise his new Blower motor made 25 more HP and 40 more FT of TQ then his hot cam 346 did

Next comes the blower The other vehical is the Fastest H2 in the PNW. he is driving his waiting for the Turbo kit to go on

I am looking forward to continued business with SDPC!
