To me, that looks like an actual picture that got leaked out. On the Digital Corvettes forum, the guy (a Chevy dealer) who had the pics in a thread said he got call from a GM executive and was asked to remove the pictures.

Either way, thic pic of the 2 Vettes in the garage is my new background...with a slight color change.

So wait what size valves does it have? it can flow 370 cfm with the valve size a few posts up.

I can't imagine that they'd put that small of a valve in there, hopefully it's a typo. GM lists the heads as cnc ported, a c5r head with minor porting will flow 370 no problem, which is the number that has been going around.

Great Pictures!!! I don't know how they do it but the Z06 just keeps looking better every time i see it.

500 HP? More like 700 HP after a cam, LT's and a 150 shot!!! That Sick Rediculous...

this is prolly a 224 cam. I wish they'd release the specs. Its a .550lift right? With this kinda displacement...I can only imagine the hp potential of a big stick install

The 1.81in valve size has to be a typo. Previous lists have noted 56mm (2.20in) Ti intake valves and cam lift of 15mm (.591in), which seems more realistic to me.

Yeah, the 346cid LS1 valve is 2.0", there's no way a 427 cube motor wouldn't have a valve even bigger than that. 1.81 has to be a mistake.

Thats what i was thinkin. And if these head do flow 370 cfm evem massaged, its all a question of P/V to see how big of a cam can go in. With 11.5:1 with a 70cc camber, there must not be much room at all. But not that it matters since a serious motor would need to lose the cast pistons anyway, just have to get some forged one with big reliefs. The thing that everyone seem to forget is that the only difference between this 7.0L and a vedors is the heads, and unless these head are what the are supposed to be, then this 7.0L will make no more power then the rest. Just gonna have to wait to get one of these apart.

I have seen the heads and let me tell you they are awesome. You will see some seriuos 600rwhp cam only cars I am guessin. Also when people start bolting on blowers The $hit will hit the fan for sure. I would imagine with 15psi of boost you will see 1000 or so to the flywheel. WITH STOCK HEADS AND CAM!!! ATI better think about a bolt on kit for a f-2 or bigger blower! Monsters I tell ya. The only question will be, who will be the first to put a stock long block cam only ZO6 into the mid 9's or better???
I cannot wait to get the heads and intake bolted to a forged 408 (Iron 6.0l block) and max out a t88 thumper and make over 1000 to the tires and drive it around everywhere with the AC on.

Or imagine a 364 or even a 346 spinnin to 8k or higher on there own and making 600+hp.

I guess that means you should just throw a cam in it. then hit it with 300 or more n20 hp with a progressive.

My guess is the engine is a stroked and bored LS2. A lighter bob weight would most likely be required to keep crank stress down assuming RPMs stay at ~6500. Ti is 1/2 the weight for the same strength. The pistons are already Aluminum can't get much lighter than that.
