LS7 in Z06 PICS INSIDE

Z06
Dude, i'm I the only one that thinks that 0-60 in 3.8 secs is too slow for a 500 hp 3000 lb car? Shoot, I've heard of more than one '04 Z06 breaking into the 11's and 3.9 0-60. This turkey should be around 3.5 0-60 at least. But who cares that car is Gorgeous, not F50 or an Enzo Gorgeous, but Good ol' American Gorgeous. I believe I will now have to take a second job as a Crack Dealer or Hitman to get one. Anyone hiring????

By the way I lifted these pics from another website that a friend pointed out to me in case the GM men in black are reading this

Anyhow, back on the forum topic, I won't tell a soul about those pics, but it was about time that someone stuck them here since I am like a lot of curious cats that needed one of their nine lives to be killed by satisfiying our curiousity, eh? Shall the men in black cometh just use diplomatic immunity.

actually upon further inspection I believe that this is probably a fake. I've observed the following:
+ The 7.0L has been selected from other portions of the intake, and pasted.
+ Note that the 7.0L badge itself is closer to the camera, which should mean that the numbers and L should be more defined, and also more bolded than the LS7 logo. this is not the case. The 7, and the L are taken from the LS7 piece and selected with the magic wand, and then pasted (albeit well done), which explains the loss in staff width on both the L and the 7. (anytime you magica wand select you will lose a bit off the edges)
+ From the angle and indications on the O, it was a retouched O from the corvette text. Also the the angle of the 7.0L badge is off by a bit. I don't think GM would intentionally put the badge on the intake with a 2' rotational error while the rest is so precise.
Sorry guys, I think this is fake. But just my $0.02

I am going to attempt to duplicate what has been done here right now, and post it. please stay tuned.

okay, I could not reproduce on my own what has been done here, but that's due to the fact that on magnification, the JPEG encoding is so rough. I also believe that if GM had released this image, it would have been a higher resolution pic. but myabe not, if it was just a concept.
I believe that its either a concept shot that shouldn't have been released being that it is innacurate or its a complete fake from someone who had a high res image of the corvette intake. Stylistically speaking, placing the text "7.0L" on that side, creating symmetry with the hose on the other side, is a graphic design error that is typically avoided. If this was a true intake with that text, the 7.0L should either be before the LS7, or after it, but all on one side. but, again, errors have been made stylistically before. can we say fiero?
do any of you know if this image is out there in high res? am going to search.
i really gotta figure this out.... cause from what I have heard its actually a 6.4L
will keep updated.

additionally, shouldn't the 7.0l space be blocked by the oil cap? see attached pics of ls2 C6 and ls2 Z06. Thats a hell of a drastic engine change if true. also the dipstick should be visible in the z06 picture, but its not.
