Is this for Real?
The LS7 isn't even in production yet. So how in the hell can Jay Leno have one in his car already??
I don't care if you're the Sultan of Brunei, GM will not let that engine get into anyone's hands until it's in full production.
It's most likely an LS1/6 with an LS2 intake and TB.
It does look sweet though.

Talk about a way to spend money.

That is a LS7 intake and from what has been said there are only two different sets of heads it fits. The LS7 heads of course
and the C5R heads.
Which ones are on that engine...then again does it really matter cause they're both badass heads.

It may not be a production LS7, but it's definitely NOT an LS2. That is not an LS2 intake, nor are those LS2/LS6 heads. I saw that car in person at the SEMA show and the heads had the same casting number as the orange GTO concept car. That casting number, 8452, is also the same one that is used on the Cadillac CTSV race car.
I get my information first hand.

yea on rides they said it was a 425ci "concept" motor from GM. no one can get one, but they may have them avalible in the future. so, i would say they are using his car for a test mule in a sense and to stir up rumors about the new engine. either way, 1,000hp isnt too shabby. now slap a turbo kit on the new Z06 with that setup and watch out!
Jay Leno is very Tight with the Top GM guys - pic's of him with them. He can get anything he want - all good publicity for GM - read this! http://smallblock.gmblogs.com/archiv...***/index.html the whole car built around a new C5 with an early LS7 Twin Turbo.

A lot of top Gm execs would never get approval to take there personal car out on the test track either.
Leno has definitely got some pull.
