LS2 Strokers w/Knock Sensors?
Perry
Dave
I disconnected the knock sensors on my supercharged Vette last summer and still no problems with 12lbs on a stock motor. My new motor will also run without knock sensors
Thanks for chiming in! Perry
Also, the difference between the 93-95 and 96-97 sensors is the impedence. People use the early pcm with the late sensors by putting a resistor in line.

It is just more expensive to build sleeved blocks. I just don't really see any other benefit to this block. Am I missing something here?
First we were weary of SD tuning, now it is catching on like fire.
now we are afraid of no KS soon we might all be turning them off.
From a racing point of view, KS is same as BS.
I'm waiting til the 7.0 block becomes aval.,then I'll build a 418CI.....

The KS worry me and I would feel more comfortable having them so I will be anxious to see what happens. I am anticipating the end of next summer to find out the prices on the 7.0L block. Might be seeing some 427 / 441 ci buildups.
In the mean time, our 402 LS2's are online being built. We have 402 iron blocks in stock, shipping -
Best regards,
