That's my deal. I liked the way they looked after they came out and I saw a few with some appearance mods. Just couldn't get past that inline 5, so I bought my truck instead. It's really making me rethink my decision now.

I thought this was still a concept truck?

It'd be nice to see it... I'd probably ditch mine.

The C-SS is rumored to have a stout rear-end and everything. To me, it seems way too well built to make it into production.

I'd definately love to see the exact truck make it to production, of course I don't know how many articles there were saying that the GTO would be available with an LS2 to start with only to find an LS1 in it for the first models. Course, I'd be happy with it just having a V8. But an LS2 with a 6 speed sure would be sweet.

GM has alot of good ideas, but make too many stupid decisions and don't sell those ideas.

Hey, lets kill the Camaro and build the SSR truck!

Tony is right.

I waited forever for GM to put a small block v8 S10 into production. They built who knows how many prototypes over the years and always said "It could see production". They never did though. I see no reason why the Colorado is going to be any different since it's basically the new S10.

BUILD IT GM!!!!!!

Don't remember where it was, but I saw a colorado with an LS1 in it not too long ago, so the LS2 should fit without much problem, right? Not sure on the size difference between the new LS2 and the LS1's.

From what has been posted elsewhere in here, there is negligible size difference externally. Heads are the same, old oilpans bolt up, intakes, what have you. There are some differences (like knock and cam sensor locations, and bore size), but they're almost all internal. And the 90mm throttle body...

But whether GM will do it or not is a whole 'nother question. My vote is that they won't. The don't seem to have the brass pair to.....

GM has no ballz when it comes to this kind of thing. Now Dodge/Chrysler on the other hand is nutz when it comes to making cars/trucks like this.
