Default HELP LS1 injectors in LS2 intake

Trying to get the LS1 "style" injectors into an LS2 intake. I have the fuel rails setup, but either need special o-rings OR sleeves for the injector bosses in the intake.

If anybody has the fix, please let me know ASAP!

Thanks

I 'll take this one Dave,
The LS2 injector 0-rings are the right od but the LS1 injector is smaller id so the injectors flop around in the LS2 manifold injector ports. Been there.

Yes, I too have tried that approach, that is why I posted here. LS2 o-rings DO NOT WORK on LS1 injectors, waaayyyy too loose.

I have a set of larger OD and larger thickness o-rings on the way, but I'm not confident at this point. I have a source that has made "sleeves" that reduce the LS2 bore down to LS1 inector size, but I thought someone here might have an alternate solution.

Anybody else??

I have done the swap. I got the orings from sdpc and the part number is 89017587. I just stacked two nuts to space the rail up 1/2". It was the easiest part of the install.

Scoggin Dickey's don't work. There is absolutely no way those o-rings will seal properly, especially over time.

Looking into G-forces solution

I have sold well over 40 sets of these and have yet to have anyone run into a problem. Let me know what if you come up with a better o-ring & if I need to look into something else!!

It is dangerous using the ls-2 o ring on the older injectors they are to loose, a real potential for vacume leaks. I machined up some sleeves and pressed them in the ls-2 intake,a little bending and redrilling will allow you to use your old fuel rail also.

do you have the sleeves available? I've gotten the rail taken care of, but still working the the o-ring/sleeve issue. Katech supposedly has orings with propper ID and OD, but I haven't gotten them yet.

I check, and my intake defintely leaks with the Red LS2 orings installed.

can I use the truck style injectors off a 07 GMC old delphi small injector plug, I beleave these are refered to as mult tech injectors. I need to instal them into a LS2 intake manifold, do I also need new intake manifold bolts? am I better off wiht a LS1 or LS6 intake can I then reuse my injectors?

mmmm which way is correct? You say fuel rail spacers, and another guy from fuel injection shop said I need injector top hat sapcers, my injectors are truck injectors not LS1 injectors wonder if they are too long or too short compared to the ls2?

I never got a good answer from anyone, even lingenfelter was not sure if it would work, fast wanted me to buy their 500$ kit, my injector company said i needed different ones.

My setup was with ls1 injectors and it ended up working just fine. Not sure the differences going to truck ones.
