Ls7 compatability

I'm looking for a good set or heads for my car. At first I was thinking patriot, but I'm wondering if ls7 heads are compatible to an ls1 and if the flow would be better.

there not since the heads of a ls7 are 12' degree and the ls1 is 15' degree you'll have to change pistons

Well, I can get some 11 degree heads from ET HEads, and don't have to change pistons....not sure on teh LS7 stuff though.

they won't fit, they are designed for a larger bore diameter as well as the intake runners being totally different, you would need a whole LS7 topend (intake, heads etc..) if you went that route. The LS7 heads are based on the C5R heads (or C6R heads now), and they would be overkill on anything smaller than 40x cubic inches.

I was under the impression that LS7 heads are not yet available. If they are, can you provide prices and info on piston options for my C5R block (4.125" bore)?

I don't think the production LS7 is avalible yet. We are making LS7 "aftermarket" cylinder heads out of our new castings, which are based on the C5R casting. It is much stronger than what a production version will be. 3/4 inch deck etc.
