So, that means that if I buy a crate LS7, I am on my own to make it work. Doesn't seem possible....

Default LS7 Won't Work?

That's right...for now. According to the pundits, there will be (may be) an offering from GM that will remedy this problem in the form of parts that come with the crate, or another part number that includes harness and PCM. I have an LS7 on order, but am taking a "wait-n-see" attitude. If the parts are not available, and at a reasonable cost, I probably won't be able to use it...unless someone comes up with another solution...like using an LS1 PCM and aftermarket harness.

So, about the LS7 heads. What if a friend who's buying a new Z06 calls the dealer and tells them that he took his heads off and tried to port them and messed them up and threw them away. Now he needs new ones sent to him from GM, will they send them? Or will they tell him his car is now unusable?

So I'm trying to figure a way to get a set of heads Because I heard they won't be selling them for awhile.

We honestly think this engine will run around the 13 range. We really do not want to post any prices yet till we actually get them.We realize that there are and will be some FEW choices to buy this LS7 from and I hope there will NOT be some out there who will create a pricing war over a great product like this.Stay tuned~we will do our best to be competive and along with that the knowledge~instead of just selling the thing.
