Ls2 402 cam
I presume that you are going to use all the good parts including great heads, intake and exhaust. At that point the use for the car will determine the cam choice.
A drag only car or even drag optimized car will have a peakier cam than a street or road race car. The street driven car/track car will need a broader power band and can rely less on peak hp.
If you get off on having high dyno numbers no matter how badly that makes the car drive on the street than get a mondo cam and be the slow guy on the street but the cool guy at the dyno shop.
A bud of mine put a relatively small cam in his 402 (230s at 0.6) so that the car would be very drivable on the street. He only peaks at 456/450 but than again the first time he ran the car (well built C5) at the drags he was in the 10's at 134 mph trap speed. So don't get too far into the teenage craze of living and dying by dyno numbers.

134 mph traps with 456 rwhp doesn't seem right unless that C5 has some ridiculous weight reduction. 124 seems much more like it.
