How much hp would this pick up on a stock LS2? Would it need tuned if that was the only thing that was changed?

hey bill, its good to hear from you! how's everything going??
this is saudisam incase you still don't know who this is

so the heads won't work on a stock ls1 block , but will they,, say ,, work on an iron block bored 30 over?? or does the bore have to be 4.065 ??
how about the valvetrain? still stock or ls7 style?

Actually, that thread didn't answer any of the unanswered questions on this thread.....it's like a mirror thread.....still no answer on whether they can be gotten fully assembled and if so, for how much.

SAMMY!!! Good to hear from you too!

You should be able to use the L92 heads on a 30 over iron block no problem. The L92 rockers are unique and required. They are similar to the LS7... but are a 1.7 ratio instead of 1.8 (LS7). Wait until the CNC houses get ahold of these heads... they are going to be killer. And yes, they will bolt right up to your motor. And if I remember correctly you have 1 7/8" headers already dumping into a 4" exhaust, right? We just need to wait a little bit until GM releases the low profile intake for these heads... shouldn't be too long. I heard you were in the 9's now... have you been able to keep the heads down?

starting this month, holden's that had ls1's are switching to the 6.0 l76, since the ls1 didnt pass the new smog regulations that came into effect in australia. i wonder what intake they use...
