These pistons work well with big cams? I'm looking to make over 500rwhp N/A.

I'm thinking with 59cc chambers, it would make around 11.14ish compression.

Whats the compression going to be with stock LS1 heads? 9.6 C/R? Would the internal parts handle 15psi from a D-1SC + 100 shot of Nitrous?

They will work fine with a big cam. The compression ratio with a 66cc head is about 10.2 to 1 so you would be at 11.4 with the 59cc heads & .051 gaskets.

10.2 to 1 with stock LS1 heads (66cc).

Yes it will work with 15psi boost + 100hp NOS but just once.

The pistons are not made out of the blown/nos material but they are still good up to about 150 shot of NOS so I would say they would work with the blower but no NOS.

Crank, rods and pistons, are they forged? With LS1/LS6 ported heads, can it handle 300HP nitrous? Does it have the camshaft?

So, these are LS1 based not LS2, right? So, why posted under LS2 Forum.

It does have forged Diamond pistons. Cam and timing set not included. I would not go over 250hp NOS with these pistons. It is an LS1 based engine.

IMO it is a good deal. considering the forged parts, pistons are designed for nitrous, these are capable of making 500/480 wheel with the right h/c and supporting mods.$400 more and you can get the LS2 aluminum block but you would need about $500 in other small parts to do the LS1-LS2 402ci conversion.

Actually, for the extra $600.00 you can have the LS2 aluminum block and the parts required for the conversion.
