this is a killer deal for a sheet metal intake to go along with some killer heads... you will make very good power with this combo... and i have a 4600 stall so im not worried about the power down low lol... I need to figure out what route im going to take... and if its the proted L-92 route, ill be giving you call....

Someone school me. I have a 4.040 stroker ready for a set of heads. The pistons were ordered based on me using afr's 225. Havent bought heads but I'm very interested in these L92's. I may be comparing apples to oranges but all I want is 500 at the wheels. AFR's $2300 Fast 90/90 $1000......L92's $1000 these guys intake and TB $1300. Am I barking up the wrong tree?

Go the L92 route. Can't beat them for the price! Flow great when mildly ported. I have seen them in the 340ish cfm ballpark at .600"!!

I think you've got the right idea. But, it is also known that there hasn't really been any solid results from using the L-92's but I'm positive they'll be some KILLER heads for the price, and esp after some porting. Throwing that sheetmetal/throttlebody together from Mizfit, and you're easily over 500 hp to the wheels. AFR's are great, but the L-92's with the sheetmetal intake just can't be passed up because of the GREAT price. Oh, and just about any aftermarket springs set that fit on the LS1 heads will fit on the L92's, which makes the Patriot Duals a nice option for springs =D.

Thanks for the reply's guys. It just seemed that I could save well over a grand going this route. If I would do some porting on the L92's I might be back up (money wise) going the afr's . Just trying to meet my goal on a blue collared budget.

If you guys are still offering the intake I would like to purchase it. I would imagine the the price is not the same, but I need the taller intake for a truck application and the added horsepower of course.
