600rwhp is no secret, a little head work, 12.25/12.5 SCR w/ forged pistons and a big cam to match the proper DCR and 7000rpm rev limit and you're there. Vette Doctors already got to 640 rwhp with this recipe albeit at 13/1 cr.

Agree. Unfortunately, Vette Doctors 640RWHP client is now limited to race fuel only.

If it were me I probably still wouldn't chance it. With the lean conditions that many are using in their tune, I feel it would be inviting future issues even with the longer spread cam.
On a side note, I wouldn't hesitate to use pump gas on a high CR(13-1) if I were just limping home.

We run less than 12:1 CR, and we run pure pump gas. I have 4 builds now, all over 610 rwhp. yes we do use a forged piston, but those exploring the LS7s can test the waters on their own if they want to experiment with stock parts. Majority of our customers prefer the smaller cams simply due to lope.
Our combos are perfectly streetable. Even our "WILD" race G7x4/5 packages drive excellent. I can pull them down to 1300-1400 with no surging at all, and I can toss it in 6th at 1200 and its really not unhappy, quite pleasant actually. We have been making huge strides in driveability with these packages, so we will continue the hunt for more power on the next few builds.
The Vette Doctors 640 rwhp was achieved with 13:1 CR and 100+ octane. Like Apples and oranges. I have not seen a dyno graph either.
My heads also flow very well, but we will not reveal runner cc or flow numbers or where the areas of concentration are. We have tested a few iterations of ports and all have worked excellent.
Tom (429 Mustang) give me a call at the shop tomorrow, I would like to discuss our email topics via phone if you have a chance.
Thanks
Louis
