Default Ported LS7 Flow numbers

I had Jay Riddle Racing (non-sponsor link removed by Admin) hand finish my GM LS7 heads. Based on what so many people have said, I was hesitant to have anyone touch the superb GM factory casting, with regards to porting and such. After consulting with Jay, and based on his years of experience with high performance heads, he was confident he could really wake these up. Needless to say, I was very surprised and pleased with the results. Cant wait to hit the rollers and the track. This is on a resleeved 5.3 L alum block, 4.100 x 4.00 422". We also went through the whole motor, and hand crafted the pistons to accomodate the 12* heads, and offset guide spacing.

4.100 bore flowed at true 28" vacuum.

So they are flowing over 360 cfm w/ the intake attached? Bad ***, those are going to make some power.

The heads have been out for 6 months+. The block is a standard resleeved block, they are $2500-3000 or so.

I'll have to ask on the bill. I haven't really even seen it yet *gulp*!!!!

We're looking into doing a sheet metal intake, and possibly an ITB set up. These manifolds really hold these motors back from big power.

Wow, from one head porter to any other, tell him I said hats off. I have yet to see an LS7 casting in person, but they sure look impressive in pictures. Be sure and post up some pics of yours when you get them back.

Honestly, they don't flow too bad considering their design. The numbers look great through both the heads and intake. It's not a super victor carbed intake flowing 400, but 367 cfm through the heads and intake is pretty impressive. I just bought a set of these heads and was considering having someone touch them up. I also plan on building a resleeved LS2 block. I plan on putting some decent power to the ground in my 02 vette. James

Well ****, the head intake numbers are very good. Should be able to allow 800HP
at the engine.

I'm VERY curious to see what the Warhawk LS7X flow now... The exhaust "looks" to be even better from what I've read... I'll post the numbers as soon as I get a set... Should be interesting.

I forgot to mention the intake required a lot of work. I guess you get what you pay for

Where the 2 pieces mate together, 'required' (he he he) smoothing and such. There were ridges in them. Also, the injector bosses were not very consistent from one cyl to the other, they needed massaged also. Finally, since I milled the heads .040, the nipple/locator dealios on either side of the manifold required some clearancing.

Update....the car is ALIVE! Started right up... quiet valvetrain (aggresive cam), 50+ psi hot at idle, man am I happy.
