What is crap is that I posted up a question last night after searching for some info on the L92 heads and this B/A thread was here! Darn for not realizing the LS7 relationship. Sorry if I wasted anyones time with that! I guess an LSX Block is in order somewhere down the road and with these heads being so reasonably priced there are some pretty sweet numbers you can put down!

From what I understand, it shares the same fuel rail with the LS2

thanks... that answered my question on whether to buy aftermarket injectors...

I "think" I should be OK with the stockers.... since I am looking for Heads Cam 408 with L92/L76 and only around 500-550NA rwhp...... so with a 200 shot wet kit the injectors wont be a problem....... Just need a fuel pump to handle it. Do yall believe the L92/LS2 fuel rail is sufficiant enough to keep up with this flow. I assume so.

So really for a Budget L92 setup:

Iron 408
L92 heads
L76 intake
SD Tune
L92 Injectors
Holley 90mm TB
(going to keep the 1 3/4 headers for now)
Custom Camshaft
Fuel Pump
Ported/Shimmed Stock Oil Pump

This sounds doable for less than 6k...... am I right?

I would have to say a 7.0 block with L92 heads would be a very nice setup to go with and it also wouldnt be as costly.

Default Need L92 VCT help

Hey guy's I need some help here I'm new to this board I have bought two L92's and it is weird how the VCT is assembled does anybody know how to correctly disassemble the VCT mechanism on the cam. PS the heads are already changed the exhaust port is fairly bigger then the two sets of bare L92 heads that I bought. GM is stepping up!

So your saying that they've already changed the casting on the exhaust? If so someone has to get some flow #'s on those.

It does seem small to me, but you have to remember that the better the heads flow, the LESS cam you need!
