Dyno'd my stock LS2 today.. woot!
The STOCK LS2 with the stock heads, intake, cam and all that was hooked up to the engine dyno today.
Only "upgrades" were some Hooker 1 3/4" long tube headers since we had no way to hook up the stock exhaust manifolds.
After some tuning we made 462HP .. this on a motor that's rated at 400hp..
Then we took off the Hooker headers and bolted on the 1 7/8 stepped race headers from 21st Century Street Machines I have ..
472hp! :wow:
Picking up 10hp from a header swap is great.. and we lost nothing on the top end. the 21st Cen headers gained from about mid pull all the way to the top..
Then we bolted on some AFR 205 heads and will make that pull in the AM. After that the cam then the FAST intake..
Anyone wanna guess the final number?

holy %$# lol...472 at the wheels or crank??? it seems to me that this is at the crank so imma guess at least 565 @ the crank with the cam/heads/and manifold, if not more... bwahaaha, very nice #'s btw

They are nice numbers no matter if they are at the crank or wheels. Would be nicer if at the wheels though.
I'm betting that you will easily hit the 500 mark and then some with the heads.

Still.. the motor is rated at 400hp at the crank so I am a happy camper so far..
More parts to bolt on and test tomorrow...
