Default L92 intake
Has anyone actually gotten one of these intakes that they have ordered?
I'm going to order one but was wondering if they are even shipping them.

Yes I have one...from sdpc. I wanted to try it unmodified and then do some things to the runners, etc. The ports are slightly smaller than they are in the heads...A 90 mm ls2 tb bolts right up...the runners are real long. I would like to run it on an engine dyno with just clean up and port match so I would have a baseline. I wish I had and ls7 to see how much adapting would be needed. I know the angle is wrong but it looks like the front to back and upper portion of the port would be close, guess I should blow 250 and get one. I can't wait to try the heads they look great with a few touches hear and their I think they are not going to be too far behind the ls7 heads for street type cars.

I wasnt aware that one was in production and shipping. This is different from the LS7 intake, right? I thought gm wasnt making one for a while.

so what part number did you use to get the one from SDPC? I tried entering the part num i had and it didnt come up on their site.

The bolt holes are in entirely different locations. The L92 intake bolt holes are in the same locations as standard LS1-LS6 heads. The LS7 heads have bolt holes that are quite a bit higher.

Maybe I misunderstood your question. I did not get the car intake which I do not know about availability. I have the escalade(tall) intake. I may take it apart and modify it if nothing great comes out.

What does the fitment look like when mocked up in the engine bay? Will it clear and if so by how much?

What is the part # for the Escalade intake?
Could you put up a photo of it so we can see what the height difference is.

It is the same as the truck intakes...look under the hood of someones tahoe. Just do a search and you will find all the part numbers...I am sure intake will not clear an f body or vette.
