shimming rocker arm

shimming rocker arm Friend has a ls2 402 with stock ls6 rocker arms and stg 3 livernios ls6 heads. He is wondering if he needs to shim his rocker arms. I have saw acouple people doin it and some have not. He has the g5x-3 cam with the 7.4 pushrods.

Hey Bill, this is Sam, here are the heads I have, I am wondering if I needed to shim my rockers. Also I got my car runnin, it was the TPS sensor.... 
For the tune I ripped Buzz's off of his car for now and loaded it to mine. I might be in need of some fine tuning from there. I will let you know...
