GM Hightech, LS7 cam specs? Does the current GM Hightech magazine have the stock LS7 cam specs correct on page 50? I thought the duration @ .050" was less than 230/231 on the stock LS7 cam.

The DCR is the actaul compression the motor makes while it is running. It is a very important part of motor and cam design.

No different than any of the LSx series engines..the stock cam has to live up to longevity, emissions, drivability, ect, ect... there is always a lot of HP left on the table..it keeps Comp Cam and the rest of the cam companies in biz..
