Hehe, I'm starting to wonder the same thing. Basically, weight. About 2800lbs with every option, and an all-iron V6. Not to mention traction, I cut consistent 1.6 60's with just 240hp

From the sound of his original post, he just took pictures of it at a shop. I don't think it's his.

I think Craig must have emailed the pics or something. When I finally looked at it closer, I realized it was at our shop.

Do you actually have to pull it off the engine to change injectors?

And cheaper, and easier to tune, basically the only downside I can think of is that they don't have quite the potential of a turbo and the parasitic loss that comes with them.

They aren't any cheaper or easier to tune for.

They don't have near the potential of a turbo. The parasitic losses aren't too big of an issue, they draw less power than a roots or screw type blower. The biggest inferiority is the boost ramp. You never get full boost until redline.

That intake is a jewel. I split off the thread when it went towards talking about ITB intakes so we can keep this thread on track.

Amazing.

Thats the kind of CNC work I'm aspiring to create. Was it done on a 5 axis mill of some kind?

We will have a version to fit every type of LSX head. Cost is to be determined at this point. I think they will be in reason though. I will update when we get some sample parts done.

Are you guys going to polish these or are you going to ship them "as machined"? What companies CNC are you using? If it's going to be as machined, can you turn up the stepover in the final surfacing operations so they look nicer? The welds are absolutely gorgeous, they deserve to be on parts with a nicer surface finish...it might be the pictures, but it looks like a pretty huge stepover and some funky tool chatter on some of the surfaces.

Quick Reply: Nice intake manifold...
