Default LS7 ported intake Dyno info

Hello everyone. Read alot on here but don't post much. I thought this would be good info for all. Have a 06 Z06 that is stock with a Jeremy Fomato tune.I added a halltech foam filter and Jeremy ported the intake Friday. The two mods where worth 19 rwhp and 13 rwtq. The intake alone was worth 12 hp. The car now puts 477/441 to the tires and it was almost 100 degrees when we dynoed it yesterday. This all from a basically stock LS7!

Jeremy is a tuner who lives in Tampa Fl. and travels country doing computer edits on GM products. His website is "Fasterproms.com" His charge for porting LS7 intake and I think any other LS series intake is $250.00. He is very sharp on nitrous applications as well. Hope this helps.

Does his porting follow along the lines of the gregfell intake mod?

Gregfell supposedly ported the intake and with intake attached to the heads
things flow over 360cFm @ .600" lift. wereas before it was in the 330CFm range.

was this on a dyno jet or a mustang dyno? the new z06 is a sick car and i hate it. i hate it because i'm to poor to drive one

this bragging has got to stop. lol 65+ grand for the z06....10+ grand for an ls7...I'm way too poor for either.

Who cares what kind of porting was done. Hell I don't even care if it flowed less through the manifold then it did stock. It picked up power and to me I will take more HP then a higher flow number any day.

guys just put a 408 in your car and you will have that kind of power. no need for an expensive 427. most of those Z06 owners wont drive the car to its potential anyway. i was running down 635E thru dallas in my daily driver a 1988 cherokee 6cyl 5spd and had to pass a new Z06 cause he was impeeding traffic, absolute shame.

nice gains from an intake that was near perfect out of the box from the factory

Get a clue, don't assume! Did you ever think that maybe the ZO6 owner had recently just bought the car and was following the manufacturer's break-in routine and was limiting his speed to 55mph (per the owner's manual) to ensure proper wear in of components like the rear end, etc?

Stop the madness. You won't see a 408 making 477rwhp with factory exhaust manifolds, and from my experience being born and raised in D/FW, if he was impeding traffic, he was probably the only one going the speed limit.
