Default L92 heads on an LS1?

I'm looking at getting a head/cam package for my LS1 (LT's, rumbler X, and SLP lid) and i was wondering if the L92 Heads would work on my stock LS1. I looked at the flow numbers and saw that the unported head flowed as good or better than the heads i was looking at getting (patriot LS6 Style Stage II, cnc Ported). I know that i will lose some low end power cause of port velocity but will these heads be a better buy than the patriots (if they fit )? I'm looking to build up more midrange to top end power but without looing all of my bottom end. My car is an A4. Sorry if this is the wrong forum but i saw all the L92 info so i figured it was the best place to ask. Thanks in advance guys!

Pretty sure you need a 4" bore to use these, so unless you resleeve or get an LS2 block, they won't work. Intake manifold availability is the biggest issue right now, though.

Just figured he would like to know more than just if the heads will work. Let him see the whole picture.

Can't do it on a 3.900" bore, there are some decen't choices for the LS1 but none of them are cheap.

Hey thanks for the replies guys, i should have figured that they wouldn't fit the stock bore, but it didn't occur to me right away. i'm still learning about the LS1(still got a lot to learn), what works and what doesn't so i appreciate the help! the smart a$$ comments aren't really helping me much so i can do without next time Wnts2Go10O, just trying to let everyone know whats going on so i don't leave them guessing when they are answering my question, still need to set up my sig. everyone's gotta start learning somewhere! anyways i'll take my business to the LS1/LS6 specific threads, thanks to everyone else who replied!
