Default Will L92 heads fit?

Has anybody else noticed that L92 head threads are almost as numerous in here as "what cam should I use G5X3 or MS4" threads are in the LS1-LS6 section? NO offense to those thread starters, cuz I know that the search button don't always work. Just an observation....

like any other tech site, alot of it is the same things over and over...
for example, on another site i frequent, you'll see a million posts asking how to land a double.
IMO, if you have to ask on the Internet, you shouldn't be jumping doubles yet. LOL.

EDIT:
double refering to jumping on a dirtbike.. LOL. i guess thats what happens when you jump back and forth between forums.

well alot of people dont understand "bore sizes" and things like that. they just see a killer flowing head and a good price and need to know if it will work. you start throwing figures at them and its like chinese arithmatic to them....

You know, the bad thing is that, they don't even recognize how badass it really does flow, all they see is the hype everyone is throwing at it. The reason I say that. is that I understood bore size way before I even had the slightest idea what head flow meant. There needs to be a way to make reading the stickies a requirement before asking questions.

A cam for the L92 heads???
I would suggest not going with a LS1 based cam.

The size and flow difference between the intake and exhaust ports for a L92 head are closer to the LS7's design then they are a LS1.

A quick read up will tell you a large variance between the intake duration and exhaust duration makes the LS7 head produce the most power (something like 25 to 30). Something along the lines of a 228 intake and a 243 exhaust would probably be a good start.

The L92 head has a massive amount of flow/volume and medium velocity on the intake, where the exhaust is medium flow with a high velocity (well that is how I look at it).

Making people read the stickies before posting... that would take the fun out of the noobs.

L92 heads made the LS1 obsolete. when you can buy stock L92 heads for 800 bucks that flow better than $1200 ported 243s there is an issue... im mad i have an LS1 now, i want a 4.00 inch bore

I foresee a 4.00" bore being the minimum in the very near future for performance builds. Remember when an LS6 454/450 in a Chevelle SS used to seem like a monster, how times have changed. We're heading towards huge power levels with these new heads. Bob
